The Fair Credit Reporting Act

Know Your Rights.

Your credit profile isn’t just data. It’s information protected by law.

FCRA

The Fair Credit Reporting Act

A federal consumer-protection law governing consumer reporting. It gives consumers rights concerning access to their consumer files, privacy and permissible use of reports, and disputes about information they believe is inaccurate or incomplete.

Your Right to Dispute

You can dispute information in your consumer reports that you believe is inaccurate or incomplete. Qualifying disputes generally trigger investigation obligations, and may go to consumer reporting companies and, in appropriate circumstances, to the companies furnishing the information.

Your Right to Accuracy

When information is properly disputed, consumer reporting companies and furnishers have responsibilities for investigation and reporting. Depending on the circumstances, information may be verified, corrected, updated, or deleted.

Permissible Purpose

Federal law restricts when a consumer report may be obtained or used — generally only for legally recognized permissible purposes. If you believe your report was accessed improperly, you may have rights under federal law.

Our standard

Accurate negative information is different.

Credit repair isn’t about making truthful information disappear. Accurate and current negative information generally cannot legally be removed simply because it negatively affects a credit score.

We do not manufacture disputes.
We never ask you to falsely claim legitimate accounts aren’t yours.
We focus on legitimate concerns, documentation, education, and your rights.

Questions

Straight answers.

What we can do, what no one can do, and how the process works.

Can you remove accurate negative information?

No. Accurate and current negative information generally cannot legally be removed simply because it affects a credit score. We focus on information that may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Do you guarantee results?

No. No specific credit score, deletion, outcome, or timeframe is guaranteed. Results depend on what’s in your reports and how consumer reporting companies and furnishers respond.

Can I dispute information on my own?

Yes. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information directly with the credit bureaus at no cost. We help consumers who want professional assistance with the process.

How long do investigations take?

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, consumer reporting companies generally must complete an investigation within 30 days of receiving a dispute, and up to 45 days in some circumstances.

What makes Premium different?

Premium adds priority handling, accelerated processing, enhanced monitoring, and a personalized strategy. Individual results and timing still vary, and no timeframe is guaranteed.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You may cancel your agreement within three business days of signing, without penalty or obligation. [Full cancellation terms to be provided by counsel.]
